The City Mayor, Sir Peter Soulsby, will offer his vision for the future development of the city economy, describe what Place Making means to him and why it is crucial to the role of City Mayor. He will outline opportunities for private investors to drive the regeneration of the city, supporting the work that the council has been leading to create platforms for growth in areas such as Waterside, Ashton Green, Old Town, the Cultural Quarter and Pioneer Park.
Two years after the launch of his plan Great City, this will also be an opportunity to review progress and re-set priorities.
