The Growth Hub – LLEP Business Gateway is bringing our vibrant and diverse business community together with support providers to celebrate the significant successes delivered in all sectors across the city and county.
In addition you will hear about plans and funding for future business support and welcome the new LLEP Chair, Kevin Harris. Stuart Garner, CEO of Norton Motorcycles, will provide a keynote speech on successfully developing a business in the county. Stuart started his own business at a young age before turning Norton Motorcycles into a flagship British brand.
There are also breakout workshops on – “Exporting in a world of opportunity” and “Potential impact of Brexit on business” as well as "ERDF Funding Opportunities” which will be of particular interest to support providers/research institutions in the low carbon sector and ICT.
Workshops are open to all and you can sign up on the day for them, however the ERDF Funding opportunities workshop is specifically aimed at business support providers particularly in the low carbon and high-tech sectors and are looking to support businesses within these sectors to innovate, scale-up and / or support them to bring products to firm or products to market. Whilst this event welcomes everyone, businesses seeking additional finance /grants may wish to approach the Business Gateway in the first instance as there are a large number of small scale grants available through a number of business support opportunities including those ERDF projects who will be attending this event”.
The event will provide extensive opportunities to network with support providers and businesses of all sectors and sizes.
