ABOUT ABOUT

By employing a diverse workforce, including young people, an organisation can increase employee engagement, save costs and gain competitive advantage. Employing young people can also create more opportunities for innovation and increase productivity.

During this free workshop, led by Access Generation, you will explore the do's and don'ts to becoming an employer of choice for the next generation. Delegates will gain a better understanding of what key messages are needed to attract the right candidates and learn how to reduce the cost of recruitment by creating your own pool of people.

Delegates will learn from the experience and insights gained from Access Generation's research project with the Prince's Trust initiative, Talent Match Leicester. The project involved young people, aged 18 - 24, designing and delivering an assessment which scored the job/careers section on over 200 Leicestershire company websites.

This workshop will include guided activities and conversations aimed at capitalising on the intelligence gained from the project which, in turn, will help companies to attract GenZ employees (those born after 1996).

This event is suitable for hiring managers, HR, marketing and operational leads looking to attract high quality employees. Access Generation CIC are finalists in the Business and Education Partnership category in the East Midlands Chambers of Commerce Awards 2018.
