This event is for those aged 18 and under 35 years of age who want to start, or have recently started, their own business. Delegates will hear first-hand from young business owners the challenges and triumphs of starting a business within Leicestershire and making the leap, as a young person, to becoming self-employed. Speakers are drawn from a variety of industries and are at different stages of their business enterprise journey. Delegates will also hear from The Sir Thomas White Loan Charity, about the financial and other support on offer from the charity and its partners.
Delegates will:
Hear from business owners who, at a young age, have started their own businesses within Leicestershire
Learn about the positives and the potential difficulties you should consider before starting your own business
Get an opportunity to participate in a Q&A session
Engage 1:1 with business mentors and advisers and hear their top tips for getting started
Learn about the financial support The Sir Thomas White Loan Charity has to offer
Have the opportunity to engage and network with like-minded individuals, helping to kick start / expand your business network
The Sir Thomas White Loan Charity is a registered charity no.218061, supporting young people to establish themselves in their chosen career. Loans are specifically for those aged 18 and under 35 years of age who wish to establish or expand their business in Leicester, Leicestershire or Rutland.
