ABOUT ABOUT

RSM are hosting a breakfast event focused on Research & Development (R&D) tax credits and the potential cash back for businesses.
R&D tax relief and credits are a key part of the Government’s strategy to encourage investment in innovation in the UK.

Recent data published for the first time by HMRC revealed that the East Midlands region was eighth in the rankings and accounted for just six per cent of R&D claims nationally. This highlights that despite the East Midlands being at the heart of technological and engineering advancement companies are still not taking advantage of this opportunity.

To help your business maximise the potential of R&D tax credits, RSM’s Central Region Head of R&D, Sheetal Sanghvi will cover the importance of R&D to your business along with:

  • the relevant criteria you need to qualify for R&D tax relief and the tax benefits

  • busting common myths

  • the future of R&D

  • recent HMRC statistics

  • the practicalities of making an R&D tax claim to HMRC

There will also be live case study examples from Holovis International and Churchill Specialist Contracting.
