In the past, entrepreneurial opportunities were rare for women and men dominated the game, but it has been changing. The number of women entrepreneurs is on the rise, more women are becoming interested in small business ownership and/or actually starting up in business. Women entrepreneurs are facing a number of challenges, especially an opportunity to innovate.
This workshop provides a networking opportunity to tackle innovation challenges faced by women entrepreneurs as well as to learn the design think approach to boost innovation for business women.
It will also help Leicestershire based female entrepreneurs to network and share issues relating to innovation and change within their organisation.
Men are also welcome at this event.
Speaker: Dr Sukanlaya Sawang is an Associate Professor in Small Business Innovation and Wellbeing. She is a highly motivated, charismatic academic with an impressive professional background and research agenda. She received degrees in organisational psychology and innovation management with the international experiences. Dr Sawang also provides consulting services and training for small businesses and training for small business.
